Jessica Aguilar said she had five days of MMA training when she first fought Lisa Ellis-Ward. Now she has five years.

Ward-Ellis submitted Aguilar with a rear-naked choke when they met a half decade ago.

Now, she’s a completely different fighter as she prepares for Saturday’s rematch at Bellator 58. She hopes a win over Ellis-Ward will earn her the right to fight not champ Zoila Gurgel, but instead, Megumi Fujii, whom she considers the world’s No. 1 female fighter.

Saunders showed that in his most recent appearance, a third-round submission victory over Luis Santos in the semifinals of the promotion’s season-five welterweight tournament, and he plans to take whatever is given to him to finish fellow finalist Douglas Lima in the welterweight finals.
