Pat Curran’s size was simply too much for Joe Warren.
Shrugging off takedown after takedown, Curran notched a third-round
knockout win over Warren to win the Bellator featherweight title.
The title fight headlined Bellator 60, which took place Friday at The
Venue at Horseshoe Hammond in Hammond, Ind., and aired live on MTV2.

Gerald Harris irked by MMA’s PED claims, willing to take test for DREAM.17 fight
DREAM middleweight Gerald Harris has no beef with Krzysztof Soszynski and Matt Serra. But he certainly takes issue with their recent comments on steroid use in MMA.
The UFC fighters recently made headlines by declaring performance-enhancers a rampant problem. Soszynski went so far as to say 85 percent of fighters use them.
To prove that statement wrong, Harris now plans to take drug testing into his own hands as he prepares for his overseas debut in Japan at DREAM.17.

Despite Coenen’s suggestion of White untruths, UFC boss stands by initial claims
Ex-Strikeforce champ Marloes Coenen appeared to have called Zuffa, LLC co-owner Dana White’s bluff on Thursday night.
However, according to the UFC president, his words remain true.
Coenen, along with her Golden Glory teammates Jon Olav Einemo and
Valentijn Overeem were cut for one simple reason, according to White: Zuffa simply can’t do
business the way the Dutch firm would prefer. Change one simple demand – one dictated by the government – and you’re welcome back with open arms.

Strikeforce Challengers 17 results: Voelker lands crushing knee, claims trilogy win
LAS VEGAS – Fourteen months after their feud began, the trilogy between
Strikeforce welterweight prospects Bobby Voelker and Roger Bowling is
over.
Despite struggling early against an on-point Bowling, Voelker used one
crisp knee and a flurry of punches to down Bowling for the
second-straight time.
The bout served as the featured contest for Saturday night’s
“Strikeforce Challengers 17: Voelker vs. Bowling III” event, which took
place at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

Bellator 45 results: M’Pumbu TKO’s Hale in third, claims light heavyweight belt
With his third TKO finish in as many bouts, Christian M’Pumbu claimed
Bellator Fighting Championships’ first-ever light heavyweight title.
In a back-and-forth affair with dual-division contender Richard Hale,
M’Pumbu used a striking-heavy attack to net a third-round TKO finish.
The bout served as the main event of Bellator 45, the promotion’s
season-four ending event, which took place Saturday night at L’Auberge
du Lac Casino Resort in Lake Charles, La.
