Champions of Champions Elite (COC Elite), the number one Muay Show in North America, brings the Kings Cup Super 8 to audiences, outside of Thailand, for the first time in the United States.

The Kings Cup is one of the most prestigious events in all of Muay Thai and is held to honor the King of Thailand?s Birthday. Held in Bangkok at a venue facing the Kings Palace. The event is annually attended by as many as 300,000 Thai fight fans and admirers of the King. The Kings Cup Super 8 Crown and Title Belt are donated by the King of Thailand. The King will be 83 years old this year.

The event lasts for one week with festivities in honor of the King and there are Muay Thai demonstrations including an amateur tournament, Ladies Super 8 and a special youth demonstration.

Kings Cup consist of eight Fighters fight in a one day single elimination style tournament. The winner must win three fights all in one day. Each Fighter must win a regional qualifying tournament to be part of the Kings Cup Tournament. It is considered to be a distinct honor to be a part of what is thought to be the premier event in the world wide Muay Thai community.

This year?s fight is significant in that the Thai?s are determined to bring the belt back to Thailand. To maximize this effort one of the most celebrated Muay Thai fighters in the world, Yodsaenklai of Fairtex, will be a featured fighter on this card.

This will represent the very first time that the Kings Cup will be made available to North American Audiences via PPV as it is actually taking place. Champions of Champions Elite is proud to be a part of this historic event in the world of Muay Thai.
