Fully healed, Rua says knee, layoff, no issue in UFC 128 bout with Jones

NEWARK, N.J. – UFC light-heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua long has been considered one of the world’s very
best 205-pound fighters, but a history of injuries has left some MMA
pundits questioning how much the striking specialist has remaining in
the tank.
Plenty, Rua said.
After all, at just 29 years old, Rua finally is healthy heading into
this weekend’s UFC 128 bout with Jon Jones, and the
Brazilian believes he’s prepared to answer his doubters.
