Now 4-1 since his exit from the octagon, Al-Hassan is out to
prove how much he’s improved as a fighter when he faces Houston
Alexander at “MMA Fight Pit: Genesis,” which takes place Aug. 13

Learning Karate
| Learning Karate
Karate means “empty hands”. Today, there are already millions of people who practice them not only in Asia but all over the world. As a person, it is a pride to know something that others do not know. Learning karate for example will be a pride which can be a good tool in building one’s self-esteem and status. However, learning karate is not that easy as you may think. It is more than wearing that white kimono and doing punches and kicks. It takes more of your personal dedication to achieve whatever goal you may put for yourself. Learning karate needs a little push. You need to set some reasons why you have to go through the rigid instructions and sessions required in it. If you really want to learn karate you must have the different qualities and traits which allow a person to be successful in this particular area. First, you must keep in mind that learning karate needs determination. This is so because, you cannot just walk in karate schools and declare that you resign afterwards. This will be waste of time and money. Karate is such a special art so once you commit yourself in learning it, then you must really mean it. Aside from that, you must have a specific purpose why you need to know things about it. In fact, there are many reasons why karate is beneficial to the mind and body. First, it allows your body to maintain its shape. Most women see this as a tool to be sexy. But aside from that, karate is actually a form of exercise. The sweat that you will be shedding in these karate sessions will surely shed off those fats from you. Secondly, karate will also allow you to unload the stress that you have been bringing coming from your work or school. It is a form of hobby too depending on how you see it. Thirdly, it is an effective way to arm yourself with self-defence moves. You can walk the streets with peace of mind and you can defend yourself from all those bad elements in the society. When you want to learn karate, you must also be ready to act accordingly. If you are a spoiled brat in your own house, you cannot continue it in karate schools for surely you will be kicked out. Karate is also about discipline which is why you have to be ready on the character changes that you need to go through. To effectively learn karate, you must also need to be in a reliable and effective karate school. Ask people whom you know have practiced karate too so that you can have feedback on the best ones in your area. Licensed instructors and effective teachers are necessary too for you to learn fast and good. Learning karate is indeed not easy but with all the pain and sacrifice that you need to go through, all will be worth it in the end. Try it and you will realize that there is some truth in all that is written in this article.
