In Sync Productions, Dennis Warner and Henan TV Network Present “WuLinFeng Spectacular” on November 13, 2010 at Harrah’s Las Vegas

(PRWEB) November 2, 2010

WuLinFeng Las Vegas Spectacular is the latest in the series of very successful world-class martial arts productions, put together by collaborative efforts of In Sync Productions, Dennis Warner and Henan TV Network. More than thirty million people tune in every week in China to watch the dramatic WuLinFeng show, the ultimate in stand up fighting, which tests Chinese fighters against fighters from the rest of the world. WuLinFeng Las Vegas Spectacular is an exception to the rule, taking place outside of its home country. However, the event of the November 13th will reveal the top dog team, USA or China.

?It has taken a whole year for WuLinFeng organization to select the Chinese fighters for this competition. Each and every one of them had to earn their place in the team,? commented Dennis Warner, president of In Sync Productions.

Fighters, representing the United States on November 13th come from all parts of the country: Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, California, Arizona and Nevada. They are the experienced combatants and the up and coming star.

Much tension surrounded the match up for Kang En, a former WBC MuayThai International champion after American fighter, Kevin Ross refused to defend his WBC MuayThai International title against Kang En. Ben Yelle of Michigan will now take a chance against the Chinese icon. Yelle?s TKO earlier this year against Ray Cole became a memorable performance for the California fan crowd. Both fighters possess comprehensive elbow strike skills, and therefore will fight according to full rules.

Las Vegas favorite, Jack Thames will stand up to Guang Hong, the star of the Art of War championship and national champion of China. Thames is coming off of two wins by KO and TKO against Mike Ryan of Los Angeles, and Eric Utsch of Penn. respectively. Thames is also set for a re-match with Craig Buchanan for a WBC MuayThai National middleweight belt after a controversial fight result in April of this year.

Heath ?Cowboy? Harris is stepping into the ring with the leader of the Chinese team Wang Hongxiang, who demonstrated a spectacular win over Joe Schilling last year in Las Vegas. Harris is best-known for his knockouts, 28 knockouts out of 29 wins.

Two full-rules and seven modified-rules Muay Thai fights will make up the fight card at Harrah?s Las Vegas. The modified bouts will operate in the three rounds/three minute structure and will not include elbows.

Complete fight card is as follows:

WBC Muaythai International Super Lightweight Bout

Fighter Imani Lee Will Again be a Contender in a K-1 Event at the Las Vegas Mirage Hotel

Los Angeles, Calif. (PRWEB) April 7, 2006

On April 29, 2006, Imani Lee’s participation in a K-1 event will be only his second bout in the classification. In August 2005 ,Imani Lee, then a newcomer to K-1, delivered a win by unanimous decision when he defeated the veteran, Jan “The Giant” Nortje. Nortje, a South African standing 6 feet 10 inches, went three rounds with Lee. However, during the last two rounds he suffered several scoring punches and kicks from Lee, which put Nortje out of contention. Imani Lee’s skill and speed won out against Nortje and showed his ability to be a future K-1 contender.

The spectators on April 29th will see a newly honed physic on Lee with more developed muscle mass. Since August, Imani’s training has been re-worked by his principal trainers, Eddy Millis of Shark Tank fame, and Jaime Fletcher of Rebel Sports. Lee has an even stronger and greater kick range than his first fight. He notes that there is a 50% improvement in his kicking ability. Imani’s training has included more emphasis on martial arts, which coupled with his freight-train punch, makes him a complete fighting powerhouse. Additionally, he has increased the weight training of his upper body, resulting in an even stronger and more cut appearance than August 2005. Imani has also restructured his diet adding more protein and nutrients in the form of fruits and vegetables.

Lee, who came from a traditional boxing back ground, is still considered a rookie in the K-1 arena. He will prove on April 29th to be an even more imposing contender.

Imani Lee’s opponent on April 29th will be Patrick Barry who defeated Mark Selbee in a super fight in last August’s event.

In Imani’s corner will be Eddy Millis (Shark Tank), Jaime Fletcher (Rebel Sports), and his manager Mike Hazard.

WCK MuayThai Brings This Year’s SuperFights To Las Vegas

WCK MuayThai Brings This Year’s SuperFights To Las Vegas

Las Vegas, Nev. (PRWEB) July 13, 2009

Dennis Warner, Henan TV Station and In Sync Productions present this year’s most ambitious fighter lineup at the WCK MuayThai – Hilton Las Vegas, where elbows will fly and international belts will fuel the adrenaline rush. The top fighters representing England, China and USA will come face to face on July 25th, 2009. Four of the ten bouts will have WBC and IKKC titles on the line.

Brit Richard Fenwick will be defending his WBC MuayThai International Superwelter weight belt against the crowd favorite Malaipet. Beginning of this year, Fenwick took the belt from Malaipet in a close-points decision at San Manuel Casino, Calif. “I am more comfortable fighting Fenwick this time around, I know his combinations and I am training hard,” comments Malaipet.

A Las Vegas-based Kevin Ross will rematch a Chinese favorite Kang En for a WBC Superlight weight belt. En won the title from Ross earlier this year by decision in Beijing. Ross comments: “July 25th is going to be the biggest fight of my life and I’m in my best shape ever. I’m going into this fight to put on a show, it’s more important to be an exciting fighter that people are inspired by than to just eek out a win any way that you can. It is my goal to beat Kang En so badly that quits, I’m not letting this go to the judges. I’m going in there to dominate him, that belt is mine! I think that he is a great fighter with a lot of heart and I have nothing but respect for him, but he has no idea what he’s in for. Fighting in front of my hometown is always such an honor for me. Nothing gets me pumped up like fighting in front of my friends and family. I just want to let all the fans know how much I do appreciate them.”

Rounding out the WBC International superfights, will be Romie Adanza, who will take on Paulo Da Silva for the third time. Adanza won the first match, while the Da Silva got TKO over Adanza the second time around, and with it Adanza’s IKKC International belt, which is also on the line on July 25th. “This is the most important fight of my life so far. I’ll never take my titles for granted anymore, I need my belt back”, adds Adanza.

Christine Toledo vs Zheng Yenan will be the only female Muay Thai bout in the event. Toledo and Yenan will be fighting in a 3 round bout under K-1 rules in the 55kg weight division. “I’m moving up in weight for this fight. My opponent is naturally heavier than me, but we agreed to meet in the same weight division. I suspect that this is a revenge duel to redeem her team mate’s (Mao Lin Ninga) loss last year when I took the victory home from China”, says Christine Toledo.

Toledo adds, “I haven’t fought in a heavier weight division since I started fighting 7 years ago. This will definitely be a whole new test for me. My trainers and I are preparing for this fight much differently than other fights. Fighting a heavier opponent calls for a completely different training regimen and game plan”. Toledo notes that she is dedicating the July 25th fight to her grandmother.

Adding to the exceptional Muay Thai match-ups:

Jared Lara vs Vaughn Lucas – WBC National Supermiddle weight title
Baxter Humby vs Xu Yan
Wang Hongxiang vs Shawn Yarborough
Wang Guan vs Chike Lindsay
Shane Oblonsky vs Scotty Leffler
Aotegen Batteer vs Danny Davis
The championships will be supervised by Charlermkiat Suvanamas.

WCK Muaythai Presents “USA vs China” Championship Fights at Las Vegas Hilton August 30, 2009

WCK Muaythai Presents “USA vs China” Championship Fights at Las Vegas Hilton August 30, 2009

Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) August 19, 2009

After the enormous success of the World Championship MuayThai that took place at the Las Vegas Hilton on July 25th, 2009, Dennis Warner and Henan TV Station are staging an unprecedented international face-off between the top stars of WuLinFeng, the most popular martial arts show in China and the top-dog Muay Thai fighters from the United States.

WuLinFeng, the number one fighting organization in China, which mainly employs the Wushu art, landed on Henan TV Station Satellite Channel in 2004, and has, since then, boasted a ten million viewer audience per episode. As the World Championship MuayThai fighters come into the ring, they will employ either WBC or the WuLinFeng rules, with the most distinctive differences being: no elbows allowed in WuLinFeng, limited clinch in WuLinFeng, fighter, falling down or being thrown down on the floor counts as an effective strike, and five three-minute rounds in WBC vs three three-minute rounds in WuLinFeng.

“The relationship with Henan TV Station is a strategic partnership for both organizations. For us, bringing Chinese athletes to the Unites States, does not only add a cultural aspect to the event, it also raises the bar for every fighter, if we take into account that China holds the first place in the number of the Olympic medals and is the birthplace of martial arts”, commented Dennis Warner, the President of In Sync Productions. He added: “For Henan TV Station, the expansion of WuLinFeng, the biggest promoter of martial arts in China into the large American Chinese community is the main focus, and there’s no better ground than World Championship MuayThai to do so.”

The muay thai night will be presented by the following match-ups:

The much anticipated WBC International Super Lightweight Title match between the WBC National Super Lightweight Champion Kevin Ross and the star of WuLinFeng, Kang En
Shawn Yarborough (with an astounding ProAm record of 73-5-1, with 55KOs) and Xu Hou, the WBC Chinese National Light Heavyweight Champion, will be fighting for the IKKC Muaythai Light Heavyweight Championship title
The #1 fighter, ranked by the Women’s International Kickboxing Association, Christine Toledo vs Zheng Yenan
Always the public’s favorite, Baxter Humby vs Xu Yan
    Danny Davis vs Wang Hongxiang
    Bryce Krause vs Raul Rodriguez
    Chike Lindsay vs Chaz Mulkey
Jack Thames vs Zou Dong Dong
    Scotty Leffler vs Martin Hensch

The finalists of the above mentioned bouts will have the privilege of fighting in the international championship, which will take place in legendary ShaoLin Temple, China in October of this year. The event will be a tribute to the 20-year long career of Dennis Warner in the muay thai industry, and his unparalleled contribution to the development of the sport worldwide.

Sanda vs Muay Thai Guangzhou, China 75kgs Punching, kicking, knees, elbows & throws. Elbow pads worn. Clinch time is shorter than standard Muay Thai match. This is Round 1 & 2. This was last match of the first China vs Thailand where elbows were allowed (elbow pads were worn though). Liu Hailong was former Sandawang. The Thai’s name was given as Phinit Somphet in the match but on a website his name was given as Lukpoei Grabangkoei. Several people have identified him as Robert Kaenorrasing and I think it is him as well so I’ve edited the name for this clip.
