Deploy Solutions Named One of the Best Places to Work in Massachusetts for the Third Consecutive Year
Westwood, MA (PRWEB) June 23, 2005 The Boston Business Journal has named Deploy Solutions one of the Best Places to Work in Massachusetts for the third consecutive year. The award recognizes DeployÂs achievements in creating a positive work environment that attracts and retains employees through a combination of employee satisfaction, working conditions and company culture. The Business Journal award comes two days after Deploy being honored as one of the “25 Best Small Companies to Work for in America” by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Great Place to Work Institute (GPTWI).
“For the third year in a row, our results validate how the creation of the right corporate culture can create powerful business advantages,” said George Donnelly, Boston Business Journal editor. “Employees are proud to work for companies that are about more than just business.”
The survey project was launched in January by the Boston Business Journal in conjunction with market research firm QMR Inc. of Wichita, Kan. Thousands of Massachusetts companies were contacted as a part of the process.
“We’re delighted to be recognized again for the third consecutive year,” said Rosanna Young, manager of human resources at Deploy. “At Deploy, we place a great deal of focus on developing innovative programs that benefit both employees and the company, such as our employee of the quarter program and our outreach and volunteer initiatives, which allow all employees to get involved. By ensuring that our Guiding Principles are reflected in all of our programs and in our hiring and retention strategies we are able to maintain our strong corporate culture, which we believe is one of the factors that makes Deploy truly an Employer of Choice.”
Companies were evaluated on the results of more than 18,000 employee-satisfaction surveys. Employees answered questionnaires that addressed such factors as: their pride in the company, company encouragement, support and recognition of achievement, and relationships with co-workers and supervisors. The results were analyzed and scored by assigning points to each question.
“Accommodating employees personal needs pays back dividends of loyalty and productivity,” noted BBJ publisher Mike Olivieri. “The companies on our list recognize that their commitment to employees is especially important as the economy strengthens and competition for talent continues to grow.” Olivieri continued, ÂThe Best Places to work are all winners because they acknowledged that the care of their employees is instrumental in maintaining the quality and reputation for services and products.”
“I am extremely proud to be a member of the Deploy team,” said Nicole Stata, CEO of Deploy Solutions. “As we grow as a company we are committed to finding new and innovative ways to develop our culture, benefits and opportunities that make Deploy a place where the best people continue to come to work, be challenged, develop, and foster life-long relationships. We are very excited to see that our workforce continues to be recognized by leading local business publications such the Boston Business Journal.”

With eyesight a work in progress, UFC contender Alan Belcher counting on fans
Alan Belcher largely was flying under the radar until a recent push from fans prompted UFC officials to give him a UFC Fight Night 22 main-event fight against fellow contender Demian Maia.
Belcher, though, was forced out of the Sept. 15 fight when a detached retina permanently sidelined him. It left questions about both his future fighting prospects and even the middleweight’s eyesight.
Now, two surgeries later and hoping for a good doctor’s checkup on Wednesday, Belcher is optimistic fans still will be there for him if he does return to the cage.
